I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years as a personal trainer, nutritionist, and now, a small gym owner. Throughout these 20+ years, I have had numerous uninformed people make comments and generalizations regarding all different gyms, workouts and workout plans, and supplements.
I have had people tell me that gyms were too pricey and unaffordable as an excuse for not attending one. I have had friends tell me that they don’t go to a gym because the hours do not align with their schedules. I have had self-conscious clients and friends mention that gyms were intimidating and only for fitness experts.
I also frequently get asked for my advice on what the best gym to attend is. After constantly explaining the pros and cons of all different gyms, it finally occurred to me that I could create a website that would have all the information in one place, making the process of finding a gym that fits you easier and more accessible.
This is what motivated me to start my website; gymsight.com. I wanted to create a convenient place for people to figure out what gym works best for them and their workout goals. Every gym has its positive and negative qualities, and there is not a one-size-fits-all type of gym. If you are looking for a strong sense of community, 24 hour fitness probably would not be the gym for you, but the YMCA could be. If you are looking for a gym full of bodybuilders with large amounts of specified equipment to help you sculpt your body, then I would probably not recommend a gym like the YMCA, however, Gold’s Gym could be a fit for you.
There are so many great gyms out there, and with so many different options and price ranges, there is a gym for everybody.
Here at Gymsight.com, we are dedicated to giving you the best information to make an informed, successful decision on where to go for your workouts as well as the type of supplements and techniques that will help you reach your goals.
So whether you are new to the gym, a fitness enthusiast, have aspirations to be the next Arnold Schwarzenegger, just love swimming, are looking for a place to play basketball or racquetball, or simply want to just stay healthy in a welcoming atmosphere to get a workout in, there is a gym for you somewhere. Helping people find the right gym is what gets me up in the morning. Fitness is my life and I’m dedicated to do whatever it takes to help people reach their fitness goals. If you have any fitness or supplement questions at all I am available 24/7 to help- Tony@gymsight.com
